Storytelling and Sandplay done on a regular basis has proven to improve the learning skills, self-image and mental well being of children around the world. For some children, it helps them to overcome poor self-image, learning difficulties and emotional problems as well. The ancient art of storytelling is especially well-suited for student exploration.

As a learning tool, storytelling can encourage children/students to explore their unique expressiveness and can heighten a student’s ability to communicate thoughts and feelings in an articulate, lucid manner. These benefits transcend the art experience to support daily life skills. In our fast-paced, media-driven world, storytelling and sandplay can be a nurturing way to remind children/students that their spoken words are powerful, that listening is important, and that clear communication between people is an art. Studies affirmed that engaging children in Jungian sandplay therapy and imaginative story telling works helped to improve classroom performance and increases intelligence scores (Source: Sandplay and Storytelling: The Impact of Imaginative Thinking on Children’s Learning and Development, Barbara A. Our Approach

During each session, in a “free and protected place” provided by a personal tray, the child/student plays with sand, water, toys and miniatures, constructing a concrete manifestations of their inner world. Upon completion, he will tell his story to the trainer. As a learning tool, storytelling can encourage the child to explore their unique expressiveness. It addition, it heightens a child’s ability to communicate thoughts and feelings in an articulate, lucid manner. Suitable for ages 3 and above.

Course Fee and Dates:
$350 per child
Each course comprise 5 weekly session of 1 hours
Sessions: Every Saturdays
Timing: 2 pm (First come first served basis)
